Godel MCP
An independent, read-only connection to Godel’s financials, earnings, filings, news and historical prices. You’ll need your own Godel account.
Connection beta. Hosted authentication and a live research request have been verified. Sign-in currently uses Godel’s Google login. Email/password account linking is not available yet.

What you can fetch
The hosted connector exposes 48 tools. The list below describes implemented access, not a promise that every field is available for every security or subscription. Results retain Godel’s dates and source information. A live request can return historical or delayed data.
| Godel area | Available data and limits |
|---|---|
| Security search SECF / ALLQ | Find instruments and companies by ticker or name; resolve security IDs; filter by asset type, venue and country. Related listings, venue directory and batch security metadata. Hosted search excludes people. |
| Company overview DES | Company descriptions, identifiers, snapshot metrics, valuation fields and related companies. Snapshot values are not streaming prices. |
| Financials FA / EM | Metric definitions, annual and quarterly actuals and estimates, financial reports, currency selection, fiscal earnings matrices and growth comparisons. Preserves reporting periods and revisions; no invented statement hierarchy. |
| Earnings / analysts ERN / ANR | Consensus estimates, earnings history and surprises, analyst recommendations and price-target changes. |
| Ownership | Reported institutional holder records and name filtering. Filing and option positions are not summed into a current ownership total. |
| Short interest / dividends SI / DVD | Short-interest and days-to-cover history, dividend events, yield summaries and series. |
| Price history HP / HCP / G | Daily, hourly and minute OHLCV aggregates, price changes and chart candles, with date ranges and pagination. Historical data, not a live quote stream. |
| Historical trades TAS | Trade pages with time, price, size, venue and condition. No continuous tape subscription. |
| Options OMON | Contract discovery: expirations, strikes, calls/puts, series IDs and feed-entitlement metadata. No live option prices, bid/ask updates or streamed Greeks. |
| Equity screening EQS | Discover fields and allowed values; screen with numeric ranges, membership and boolean filters; sort and select result columns. Date-filter transport is not implemented. |
| Movers / trending MOST / TREND | Activity, gainer, loser and value rankings; sector and market-cap selectors; popularity counts and history. Preserves source ordering and session dates. |
| Market directories WEI / WEIF / GLCO / FX | Index, index-futures, commodity and forex universe definitions and security IDs. No live monitor quotes or currency-conversion feed. |
| Map inputs IMAP / HMAP | S&P 500 membership snapshot, sectors, subsectors and batch company valuation metrics. No live heatmap, DJIA-specific membership or inferred index weights. |
| News N / TOP | Global or company feeds, keyword matching, date/language/source filters, news categories and Reuters-ranked top news. |
| Filings / transcripts CF / TRAN | Company filings, earnings and conference transcripts, plus paginated document text from the supported Moody’s, SEC filings, AlphaStreet and Reuters routes. Embedded links and attachments are not fetched. |
| IPOs IPO | Offering events with company/security metadata and pagination. |
| Comparisons GR / HMS | Pair ratios, correlations and regressions; rebased daily comparisons across securities. Comparisons use common dates without filling missing observations. |
Local calculations
OVME / CALC: European Black–Scholes prices and Greeks, implied-volatility solving, and future value of signed cash flows. These are calculations from supplied inputs, not Godel market quotes.
Implemented, but live access is blocked
Company product revenue, company medicine data and sentiment have adapters and remain in the tool list. They passed capture-based checks but returned HTTP 403 in prior live checks. The connector reports the failure; it never substitutes captured data for a failed live request.

What’s missing
- Real-time quote, trade and option-Greek streaming; persistent background subscriptions.
- Watchlists, saved alerts, notes, portfolio/AUM and brokerage-account data, account entitlement lists, and the halt feed.
- Live heatmap updates, DJIA-specific membership, a currency-conversion feed, and screener date filters.
- Automatic renewal of the underlying Godel session. Reconnect when it expires.
- Email/password account linking through a Godel-hosted callback.
Excluded from the public connector
The local MCP has eight additional tools for chat discovery, reading and search, channel details, chat settings, user search, badges and saved-chart metadata. Those are deliberately disabled here. Sending messages, read receipts, trading, account changes and chart editing are not exposed.
How sign-in works
Sign-in opens Godel’s Google flow. Password entry stays with the provider. Johann Systems has no password form, password proxy, HAR upload or token-paste option.
The VPS does handle session credentials. After sign-in it verifies your Godel account, stores the resulting session token encrypted, and uses it to fetch data for your connection. The running service must be able to decrypt that token; encryption does not make it inaccessible to the server. Your MCP client receives a separate, revocable credential.
Email/password linking is waiting for a verified handoff from Godel’s own sign-in page. We are not collecting Godel passwords to work around that gap. Failed sign-in leaves the connector disconnected.
Coverage checked October 15, 2026. The list distinguishes implemented adapters from live availability; access can depend on your Godel subscription and upstream restrictions.
